Volunteer UA: Where Communities & Good Causes Connect!
2008 Expo Overview

On Wednesday, September 10, 2008, 34 non-profit organizations welcomed more than 150 guests to the second-annual Volunteer UA Expo. The event was a resounding success for all involved. Exhibitors reported a high level of interest in their programs and volunteer opportunities, with many happy to report they had new volunteers already signed up to help their causes.

The event's guest speakers provided us all with words of inspiration, and a greater understanding of the power of volunteerism. Our special thanks to: Margie Pizzuti; Jane Leach; Randy Wilker; and Joe and Josh Valentino.

A delicious spread of hors d'oeuvres and desserts were donated to the Volunteer UA Expo, thanks to generous contributions by: Caffe Da Vinci; Caribou Coffee on Tremont Road; Cheryl Dye of HER Real Living; Great Harvest Bread Co. on Henderson Road; First Community Village; Fresh Market on Henderson Road; the Kroger on Henderson Road; Noodles & Co. on Henderson Road; Panera Bread at Kingsdale; Qdoba on Henderson Road; and Roma Pizzaria on Henderson Road.

Below are some pictures from the event for your enjoyment. We look forward to another successful Expo in 2009, and invite you to join with us to help take volunteerism in the TriVillage area to a new level.
