Community Education Programs

The Upper Arlington Police Division is proud to offer its citizens a variety of safety education programs, as well as tips on what you can do to stay safe in your homes, businesses and community.

This section includes an overview of:

• D.A.R.E. - Drug Abuse Resistance Education, commonly referred to as D.A.R.E., is a preventive program aimed at equipping students with the skills to recognize and resist the pressures to experiment with alcohol, nicotine, and other drugs;
  
• Safety Town - a two-week summer preschool program that teaches children all aspects of child safety;
• Citizen Police Academy - an annual fall program for adults that takes them behind-the-scenes of local law enforcement;
• General Safety Tips - for gun safety, bicycle safety, home security, and more.
