Northam Park Tennis
Family Pass – can be any two adults and/or their dependent children. Both adults must live at same address.
Dependent Children – unmarried, under 24 years, living at home, or foster children with verification.
Proof of Residency - residency pertains to those who live or work in Upper Arlington. Please provide a copy of utility bill, lease, deed, pay stub, or tax records.
Swimming and Tennis Hardship Termination - All swimming and tennis pass sales are final except when hardship criteria can be documented. Requests for Hardship Termination are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing to the Aquatics and Park Facilities Manager. All passes must be attached to the written request. Season pass fees may be refunded or issued as a credit voucher and are prorated from the start of the season regardless of use. Requests will not be accepted after August 10, 2008. A processing fee of $5.00 is assessed for all hardship requests.
The following criteria must be met to qualify for a Hardship Termination:
• Personal medical condition - provide a physician’s statement on the physician’s office letterhead stating the medical condition and restrictions.
• Relocation - outside a 25-mile radius of the Municipal Services Center -provide proof of relocation - deed or lease agreement.
• Patron death - copy of Death Certificate or obituary.
Player Code of Conduct -
1. Sportsmanship is as much a part of the Game of Tennis as skill.
2. Hitting balls at an opponent or partner in anger is not tolerated.
3. Players must treat the staff and court attendants with respect.
4. Proper attire is expected: Appropriate tennis attire is required. (No cutoffs) Appropriate tennis shoes must be worn. (No running shoes)
5. A one-hour limit for singles and a 1.5 hour limit for doubles is in effect when others are waiting.
6. Members must check-in at the gatehouse with membership card to be assigned a court.
7. Guests must check-in and pay their fee before going on the court.
8. Members are responsible for their guests.
9. A court attendant must assign all players going on the courts.
10. Switching courts without permission is prohibited.
11. All non-playing children must be supervised.
12. Players going on non-gated courts with players already playing must show courtesy to each other.
13. Offensive language and excessive noise must be avoided.
14. Courts are relinquished upon request for Northam Park programming and/or normal rotation.
15. Any player receiving three verified complaints within a year is subject to disciplinary action and possibly barred from play at the Northam Park Tennis Facility.
