Weekly News May 12-17 Monday, May 12 Macintosh User Group (MUG)meets today. These classes are free to UA Senior Association Members and meet the second and fourth Mondays of each month in Bldg 3, Rm 301 from 1-3 pm. Today's class is Managing Data: Quicken 2007; Filemaker Pro). Armed Forces Group meets today at 1 pm in Bldg 1, Rm 104. Tuesday, May 13 Current Events "Ensure Domestic Tranquility" with speaker, Don Cherry. This session is open to all Senior Center patrons and begins at 2 pm, Bldg 1, Rm 104 and is free. Wednesday, May 14 IBM Computer Class meets. A new session begins with Intro to E-mail, Internet & Search Engines (1). 9:30-11:45 am, Bldg 3, Rm 301. Biblical History Learn more about the Bible from Genesis to Revelations through Barbara Strouse who has been studying for the past 12 years. Educated at Marietta College and Ohio University, Barbara holds an MA in Education and taught secondary science for 25 years. She uses multiple resources and maps to enhance the discussion. Participants should bring a New International Version Bible, NIV, preferably the Study Version. The class begins at 2:10 pm in room 104. Thursday, May 15 IBM Computer Class continues with Intro to E-mail, Internet & Search Engines (2).. 9:30-11:45 am, Bldg 3, Rm 301. Investment Discussion Group Kathryn Bennett, Asst. V.P. & Trust Officer, Huntington National Bank, discusses Trust Administration. This program is open to all patrons of the Senior Center. Join us at 2 pm in Bldg 1, Rm 104. Friday, May 16 IBM Computer Class finishes the week with Intro to E-mail, Internet & Search Engines (3). 9:30-11:45 am, Bldg 3, Rm 301. Ed Lentz The Civil War series continues at 10 am in room 104. The cost is $5. Saturday, May 17 Studio 55 Exercise today from 9-noon. Trips We offer a wide variety of trips, from day trips to overnight adventures.
