UA Senior AssociationIntroduction | Membership | Senior Advisory Council | The Sentinel Newsletter | VolunteerWe credit the success of the Senior Center to the innovative structure of member involvement. The Senior Center has a proactive Senior Association, led by the Senior Advisory Council that is comprised of 15 elected members. Membership in the UA Senior Association is $15 for a resident and $20 for a non-resident per calendar year. The Senior Advisory Council meets monthly in partnership with City staff to help create the atmosphere that sets us apart. The Council makes recommendations in an advisory capacity for programs, services and facilities. This group also supports the Senior Center financially, using funds raised through the Association to purchase new equipment and support facility improvements. The Senior Advisory Council meets the second Friday of the month at 1 pm in Bldg 1, Rm 104.
