Pee Wee Picasso
Every child has artistic ability. This class brings out the artistic talent in your child and draws his/her interest to the arts that stays for the rest of their lives. This course enhances your child’s motor, math and music skills. A variety of art is taught - watercolor, acrylic, sumi painting, how to mix colors, make a color wheel, etc. Make a keepsake art project to frame. Classes are taught in a positive, fun and caring atmosphere geared for success. Please bring a two-pocket folder to class.

Spring is in the Air
Let’s celebrate the season! Planting seeds and learning how to take care of them is part of spring. We make some bunnies covered with fluff and stuff. Stories, songs and a snack round out our time together. Oh, what a spring this will be!

Fantastic Fathers
Dads make a difference, so let’s show our ‘Dad Appreciation’ by creating a one-of-a-kind surprise for his special day. We decorate a picture frame and then insert a favorite snapshot of you and Dad. We wrap it up and put a pretty tag on it ready for dad on his special day. At the end of class we tell our favorite dad stories. Songs and a snack top off the night.

Pre-School Spanish
This class introduces children to the Spanish language through song, play and stories to help them learn a wide variety of words and phrases. This fun class is designed to keep your Senor or Senorita interested, while stimulating his/her desire to learn, either for the first time or to reinforce some basic knowledge. Children also have opportunity to make homemade tortillas with a tortilla maker. Parents are encouraged to stay and learn too!

My Garden Mad Science
Topics include: SOIL & SEEDS; SUN, WIND & RAIN; PLANTS & LEAVES; FLOWERS, FRUITS & VEGGIES; and BUTTERFLIES, LADYBUGS & BEES. Topics give children a new set of experiences and fun activities that enrich their understanding of how living things grow and interact with the environment around them. Children perform hands-on experiments, play themed games, enjoy a snack and story related to that day’s theme.

Discover the secret techniques detectives use to solve crimes. Learn about the basics of human DNA and how it can be an important part of crime solving. See how analyzing the contents of solutions can provide valuable clues to a crime. Learn how to crack top-secret codes. See how everyone’s fingerprints are different and learn the techniques detectives use to analyze them. Put all you’ve learned and experimented with to work analyzing a mock crime scene – just like real detectives do! Take home projects include a detective’s kit, a secret decoder system, a model skeleton, a secret agent triangle puzzle and more!
