Pool Parties

The Reed Road Water Park is available for evening pool parties from June 14 through August 15, 9:15-11:00 pm. To book a party, please submit a Pool Party Application at least three weeks in advance. Contact the Parks and Recreation Office at 583-5300 to receive an application or click here.

The City reserves the right to postpone or cancel a pool party reservation due to emergencies such as severe weather, chemical or filtration problems. A $25.00 administrative fee is charged for all pool parties cancelled by the applicant.

Due to the proximity to residential areas, the anticipated noise level, and the current closing hour of the pools, it is not feasible for live bands to play at pool parties. For the same reasons, it is also not feasible to play music over the public address system. However, music may be played on radios and portable stereos as long as the volume is maintained at an acceptable level. The manager on duty shall have the sole responsibility for determining if the volume is at acceptable level.

Persons attending the pool party must follow the established policies of the Upper Arlington Swimming Pools. No alcoholic beverages or illegal substances are permitted on pool grounds and no person shall be admitted to the pool facility that appears to be under the influence of alcohol or any other drug. The City reserves the right to remove from the facility any individual who is in violation of the rules and guidelines of the Upper Arlington Swimming Pools and the City of Upper Arlington.
