*Turn Cards into Tricks: Play of the Hand
with Kelley Dillon
This class is designed to help players of all levels improve their play of the hand skills. Class time is spent on instruction in both no trump and suit contracts. Topics include counting winners and losers, developing a plan, communication and trick development techniques. Lectures are reinforced by sample hands to play. Weekly handouts are provided.

This class provides the perfect opportunity to practice and hone your bridge skills. Bid and play hands under the direction of the instructor. Hands are structured to reinforce some of the basic principals of bridge bidding and play. Brief informational lectures further illustrate the specific concepts covered. Weekly handouts are provided.

Learn how to bid hands stronger or weaker than the norm. Discuss opening bids. Strong hand topics covered are reverses, jump shifts, two clubs strong, ace asking bids, and no trump structure. Weak hand topics include 2 bids, 3 bids, 4 bids and weak jump overcalls.

*Modern Bridge Techniques
with Joyce Penn
Enjoy learning and practicing the popular “Two over One Game Forcing” system with accompanying conventions. Using a practical approach, the topics covered include Forcing 1 NT, Jacoby 2 NT, minor suit bidding, fourth suit forcing, handling major suits and new minor forcing. Practice sample hands to reinforce each lesson. The required “Two over One” manual is available for purchase from the instructor at the first class ($15).
