Roger Gentile began selling wine professionally over 35 years ago at Gentile’s The Wine Sellers. He also began teaching wine classes over 30 years ago. Roger has also written two books, Basically…Wine and Discovering Ohio Wine, the seminal book on the subject. He has also published a number of travel pieces about wine venues. Although Roger feels that he knows more about wine than anyone he has ever met, he sees it as his job as a teacher not to share every small detail of his knowledge with his students, but rather to enlighten, interest and inspire them to want to learn more.
