Mary Ellen Bibyk has been an instructor for the Lifelong Learning and Leisure program for approximately eight years. She has a Bachelors Degree in nursing and worked several years in both pediatric and adult critical care. While working on her Masters Degree at The Ohio State University, she accepted a research assistantship that studied the effects of exercise in women with breast cancer. Here, she learned the theory behind exercise and the positive impact exercise can have on a person's health and well-being.
