Abstract Works from Terra Gallery
January 7-25, 2008
Reception Monday January 7, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
The City of Upper Arlington Concourse Gallery presents “Abstract Works from Terra Gallery” on view from January 7 to 25, 2008. Artists represented by Columbus’ Short North Terra Gallery share works of art with the Concourse Gallery through this partner exhibition. Please join us for a reception to celebrate the works of art on Monday January 7, 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Concourse Gallery is located at the Municipal Services Center, 3600 Tremont Road, and is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Through a variety of media, artists of Terra Gallery simplify and exaggerate form, color and material in order to select and abstract from the world around them. With diverse representation of artists, Terra Gallery promotes each represented artist in order to “enrich the culture of the community and strengthen its relationship to others.” Terra Gallery, located in the heart of the Short North Arts District of Columbus, Ohio on High Street, features contemporary drawing, painting, and sculpture by emerging and established artists. The Gallery is designed to facilitate the introduction and development of artists' work in its exhibition space, while maximizing each artist's national and international exposure with an online gallery. A variety of services are also available for collectors, interior designers, and corporate clients.
The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this program with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
