Please join us for a reception on Monday June 25, 6-7:30 p.m. The Concourse Gallery is located at the Municipal Services Center, 3600 Tremont Road, and is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Join us in the Concourse Gallery for Artspeak, as the artists share their creative process on Monday July 9, 12 – 1 p.m.

Sharing a passion for celebrating and preserving cultures, Robert Studzinski and Talle Bamazi invite viewers to explore West Africa through their art. A self-taught photographer, Robert’s work displayed in the Concourse Gallery expresses the life of West Africa’s inner delta of the Niger. Robert, a retired veteran parole officer for young felons, was born in Cleveland, Ohio and a graduate of Ohio University and continues to receive awards for his photography focusing on indigenous and endangered cultures.

With an enthusiasm to share the culture of Africa with the community, Talle Bamazi of Kara, Togo, West Africa, came to New York City in 1995. He attended the New York Student Art League and earned a Masters of Fine Art at the New York Academy of Art. Upon graduating, Talle pursued his dream and opened Kiaca Gallery in Columbus, where African and African American artists are invited to show work. “I have tremendous pride and passion for the culture of my beloved Africa,” Talle Bamazi shared. Join in the passion of these artists and experience a glimpse of Africa through art.
