1. Proposed Legislation – To Amend U.A.C.O. § 507.01 Relative to the General Offense Code By Adding Definitions Relating To U.A.C.O. § 507.17, § 507.18, and § 507.19.
2. Proposed Legislation – To Enact U.A.C.O. § 507.17 Relative to the General Offense Code by Establishing a Registration Requirement for Any Person Who Has Been Convicted of, Is Convicted of, Has Pleaded Guilty To, or Pleads Guilty To Any Sexually Oriented Offense That is Not Registration Exempt Shall Register Personally With the Upper Arlington Chief of Police Within Five (5) Days of the Offender’s Coming Into the City if the Offender is Domiciled, Whether Permanently or Temporarily for More Than Seven (7) Days, If the Offender is Employed, Whether Permanently or Temporarily for More Than Seven (7) days or for an Aggregate Period of Thirty (30) or More Days in a Calendar Year and All Other Registration Provisions Set Forth in Ohio Revised Code Section 2950
3. Proposed Legislation – To Enact U.A.C.O. § 507.18 Relative to the General Offense Code by Establishing a Prohibition on Persons Who Have Been Convicted of, Are Convicted of, Who Have Pleaded Guilty To, or Who Plead Guilty To either (1) Sexually-Oriented Offense That is Not a Registration Exempt Sexually Oriented Offense (For a Crime Committed Against a Child) or (2) A Child-Victim Oriented Offense; and who Have Been Classified as Either a Sexual Predator or as a Sexually Oriented Offender as to either (1) or (2) Above, From Establishing a Residence or Occupying Residential Premises or Being Employed Within One Thousand (1,000) Feet of Any School Premises, Licensed Daycare Facility, Preschool, Any Public Park, Swimming Pool, Library or Playground
4. Proposed Legislation – To Enact U.A.C.O. § 507.19 Relative to the General Offense Code by Establishing a Procedure For Disclosing Information On Registered Sex Offenders Within Four (4) Days To Persons Within Four (4) Days To Persons Within a Specified Geographical Area Consistent With the Community Notification Requirements Under Megan’s Law
