Clerk’s Certification that Election Certificates have been filed ACTION: Clerk Certified that Election Certificates are on file for Mary Ann Krauss, Edward F, Seidel, Jr., and Erik F. Yassenoff and were duly elected members of Council of the City of Upper Arlington, Ohio at the election held November 6, 2007 5. Oath of Office administered to newly elected/re-elected members of City Council ACTION: The Honorable Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer administered the Oath of Office to Mary Ann Krauss, Edward F. Seidel, Jr., and Erik F. Yassenoff 6. Roll Call 7-9. Nomination(s) and Election for Temporary Chairperson COUNCIL ACTION: Council Member Mauger is elected as Temporary Chairperson 10-11 Nomination(s) and Election for President of Council COUNCIL ACTION: Council Member Leach elected as President of Council and Mayor term expiring January 11, 2010 12. Administration of Oath of Office to President of Council and Mayor ACTION: The Honorable Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer administered the Oath of Office to President of Council and Mayor Donald B. Leach, Jr. 13-14. Nomination(s) and Election for Vice President of Council and Vice Mayor COUNCIL ACTION: Council Member Krauss elected as Vice President of Council term expiring January 11, 2010. 15. Administration of Oath of Office to Vice President of Council and Vice Mayor ACTION: The Honorable Chief Justice Thomas J. Mayoral Appointments effective immediately and expiring January 11, 2010: COUNCIL ACTION: President Leach made the following appointments: · Appointed President Leach and Vice President Krauss to the Central Ohio Municipal Council · Appointed Vice President Krauss to the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and Virginia L. Barney as Staff representative · Appointed Council Member Yassenoff as Council’s Liaison Member as ex-officio/non-voting member to the Upper Arlington Commission on Aging · Appointed President Leach as Council’s Liaison Member to the Cultural Links Board of Trustees, serving in an ex- officio/non-voting capacity · Appointed Council Member Ciotola to the First Suburbs Consortium · Appointed Council Member Yassenoff as Council’s Liaison Member to the Upper Arlington Leadership Program in an ex-officio/non-voting capacity · Appointed Council Members Mauger and Yassenoff and President Leach (Chair) to the Council Rules Review Committee. · Appointed City Manager, Finance Director and Council Members Seidel (Chair) Steen and Mauger to the Financial Policies Committee 25.
