The Board of Zoning and Planning of Upper Arlington, Ohio welcomes all comments from the audience related to items on this agenda. Groups of residents who are interested in the same agenda items are encouraged to select a spokesperson for the purpose of addressing the Board. If you wish to participate in the open discussion of a particular item, please stand, be verbally recognized by the Chairman, state your name and address for the purpose of our records, be sworn in, and make your comments. Upon request to the City Clerk's office, special accommodations (i.e. interpreting services, audio recording, etc.) for persons with disabilities will be arranged for any City meeting open to the public. I. Minutes

Review and approval of the January 22, 2008 BZAP minutes and other reports and minutes. Approved as submitted.


II. Variances/Conditional Uses

Mr. Charles Deibel 2095 Tremont Rd
Request to permit the construction of an 11'-4" wide front entry porch roof which will project 4'-8" into the 40' platted front yard setback, in lieu of the eight-foot by four-foot projection permitted. Referred from January 22, 2008 BZAP meeting. Postponed to March Work Session and BZAP meetings.

Matthew and Sarah Miller 1695 Waltham Rd
Request of J.S. Brown & Co., on behalf of property owners, to permit the construction of a
second story addition that will encroach one-foot into the ten-foot required side yard setback and 11 feet into the average 31.15' rear yard setback; and which will encroach 3'-2" into the 12'-2' side yard required where the length of the side wall exceeds 40', and which will project into the 1.6 rear profile coefficient established for this zoning district. Postponed to March Work Session and BZAP meetings.

Mark and Danette Ford 1988 Waltham Rd
Request to permit the construction of a second story addition over an existing porch which
encroaches two feet into the minimum eight-foot required side yard setback. (The encroaching porch was approved by City Council in 1988.) Approved with two conditions.


Marleah J. Kenoyer 3421 Sciotangy Dr
Request to permit the installation of a new driveway that will be located zero-feet from the
neighboring driveway, in lieu of the six-foot separation required. Approved with three conditions.

This meeting will be held to review proposals for information and feedback prior to the filing of a formal application with the Director of Development, or for items that the Board has tabled for additional information.
