The Board of Zoning and Planning of Upper Arlington, Ohio welcomes all comments from the audience related to items on this agenda. Groups of residents who are interested in the same agenda items are encouraged to select a spokesperson for the purpose of addressing the Board. If you wish to participate in the open discussion of a particular item, please stand, be verbally recognized by the Chairman, state your name and address for the purpose of our records, be sworn in, and make your comments. II. Variances/Conditional Uses
Mr. Joseph A. Miller 1884 Bedford Rd
Request of Architect Steven R. Copeland, on behalf of property owners, to permit the
construction of a new driveway which will be closer than six feet to the adjacent driveway.
Referred from January 22, 2008 BZAP meeting. Approved with conditions.
Mr. Charles Deibel 2095 Tremont Rd
Request to permit the construction of an 11'-4" wide front entry porch roof which will project 4'-8" into the 40' platted front yard setback, in lieu of the four-foot by eight-foot projection permitted. Referred from March 24, 2008 BZAP meeting. Withdrawn.
Mr. Jeffrey L. Kuntz 2711 Folkstone Rd
Request to permit the replacement of a five-foot stockade fence with a six-foot privacy fence along the McCoy Road rear property line and extending 24' along the east property line of this "through"-lot. [Original variance was granted in 1973 for a five-foot stockade fence in same location.] Approved with two conditions.

Request to permit the construction of a two-story room addition that will connect the existing detached garage to the principal structure, thereby causing the garage to encroach 0.5' into the eight-foot minimum required rear yard setback; and which will encroach 5.42' into the required minimum 20' setback along Harford Road. (See companion rear profile request.) Approved with one condition.

Request to permit the construction of a two-story room addition that will connect the existing detached garage to the principal structure thereby causing the garage to project into the 1.6 rear profile coefficient established for the zoning district. Request of Mr. Frank Pizzo, City Barbeque, on behalf of property owner, for permission to
enclose an outdoor seating area with a fabric awning. Approved subject to four conditions.
Huntington National Bank 1531 W Lane Ave
Request of Mr. Chris Humphrey, on behalf of the bank, for approval of an amended graphics plan for this bank site. Postponed to May 2008 Work Session and BZAP meetings.
