Board of Zoning & Planning MeetingTuesday, February 20, 2007The Board of Zoning and Planning of Upper Arlington, Ohio welcomes all comments from the audience related to items on this agenda. Minutes Review and approval of the January 16, 2007 BZAP and February 5, 2007 Work Session minutes and other reports and minutes. Approved as submitted (7-0). II. Variances/Conditional Uses Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Montesanti 3930 Kioka Avenue Request of R.J. Landis Design & Construction, Inc., on behalf of property owners, to permit the construction of a one-story family room addition that will encroach 0.7' into the 10' required north side yard setback; and which will encroach 3.5' into the 12.3' side yard required where the length of the side wall exceeds 40'. Postponed to March Work Session and BZAP meetings. Mr. & Mrs. James A. Gardner 2040 Wickford Rd Request to permit the construction of a kitchen addition that will encroach 2' into the 33' required rear yard setback; and to permit the construction of a new detached garage that will be located eight feet from the principal residence, in lieu of the ten foot separation required. Approved (7-0). Mr. and Mrs. Doug Shank 2107 Concord Road Request to permit the installation of a six-foot privacy fence that will be located 26' forward of the platted 40' Fifth Avenue setback line. Approved with conditions (4-3). Mr. and Mrs. Rob Gillie 2100 Concord Road Request to permit the installation of a six-foot privacy fence that will be located 26' forward of the platted 40' Fifth Avenue setback line. Approved with conditions (4-3). III. Adjournment BZAP Work Session March 5, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Council Chamber Municipal Services Center, 3600 Tremont Road This meeting will be held to review proposals for information and feedback prior to the filing of a formal application with the Director of Development, or for items that the Board has tabled for additional information. This meeting is open to the public. Agendas will not be published prior to the meeting dates, given the short time frame and informal nature of this meeting.
