Community volunteers work together to help beautify UA schools and public spaces in this unified effort. A pancake breakfast is held at Thompson Park Shelterhouse at 7 a.m. to help kick-off the event, with work beginning at 9 a.m.

Each year the Upper Arlington Historical Society, in partnership with the City of Upper Arlington, honors a deceased Upper Arlington resident who had a positive impact on the community and beyond through his or her professional, philanthropic, volunteer or public service. In 2008, C. William O'Neil will be honored. Event is open to the public.

UACA Memorial Day Run
7:30-8:30 a.m. registration, 9 a.m. 5 mile run, 10:15 a.m. Fun Run, UA Civic Association

This five-mile race takes place through the streets of UA for serious and casual runners.

Movie in the Park

It's movie madness time, with a series of free outdoor movies at various UA parks. Movies start at dark. In the event of rain, movies are shown the following night. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.

Join us for a morning of companionship, exercise and a breath of fresh air. Pet People provide water for your dog along the route, doggie bag and biscuit. Free admission.
