City Guiding Documents - this section provides easy access to the City's guiding documents: the Master Plan and annual reports pertaining to implementation; the Unified Development Ordinance; the City's Transportation Plan; the City's Building and Property Maintenance Codes, and other codified ordinances.
Note: The City enforces the most current version of the Residential Code of Ohio, as well as Codified Ordinance Chapter 13: Building Code for residential projects. The most current version of the Ohio Building Code is enforced for commercial projects. State code books are available for purchase at the International Code Council at www.iccsafe.org.
Code Compliance - this section links to FAQ's and informational pamphlets pertaining to common home improvement projects like fences, decks and storage structures. It also explains Code Compliance programs such as Sign Abatement, Community Service Trash Removal, Trash/Litter Abatement, and Property Assessment Monitoring. See this section for codes that are enforced by the Code Compliance Officer.
Construction & Remodeling - this section links to the City's Unified Development Ordinance, information on the development approval process, the Board of Zoning & Planning, the Board of Building Standards and details of Code Enforcement. In addition, numerous permits and forms are available as .pdf files for you to download and print.
