The position of police officer brief job description – Patrols assigned areas to enforce law and order, and carry out special assignments to protect life and property.
Qualifications – applicants must be high school graduates and able to pass a Civil Service written examination, background investigation, physical agility test and drug screen.
Age restrictions – must have reached 21st birthday by day of appointment (may take exam if age 19 years or over).
Salary Range - Starting $40,414.40, maximum $63,731.20 after 3 years
