Fire DivisionLink to Fire Division Service InformationThe Fire Division provides fire fighting, emergency medical, rescue, and hazardous materials response for the community. There are also a variety of non-emergency programs available to assist the public with fire prevention, smoke detectors, blood pressure screening, carbon monoxide, fire inspections, station and truck tours, and public speaking requests. Each year, Fire Division personnel undergo training exercises to ensure the best service to residents. This includes mandatory continuing education to maintain EMT and paramedic certification, use of donated structures for live fire and rescue training, and participation in three annual field exercises as part of the regional hazardous materials team.
