City Clerk's Office

The City Clerk’s Office serves as the legislative arm by providing administrative support to City Council. Staff members schedule and coordinate items appearing on the Council agenda and attend all Council meetings. They also prepare ordinances, minutes, and reports that accurately reflect policy recommendations and decisions of City Council.

The office is also responsible for the management of all City documents. This includes archiving, microfilming, and onsite and offsite storage. In addition, staff members respond to records requests.

The City Clerk’s Office publishes listings of scheduled meetings pursuant to Sunshine Law requirements. The office also serves as a liaison to residents in terms of scheduling, research, and ceremonial functions.
