Community Surveys
This section contains various survey reports as they are assessed by the City to gauage resident perceptions on a variety of issues.
2006 Community Survey
Every three years, the City undertakes a broad-based survey of residents. The purpose is to monitor resident satisfaction with City services over time, to determine if priorities are in keeping with resident sentiments, and to identify any issues that should be addressed by the City's leadership. This process occurred late-spring through fall of 2006. For the first time, the City was able to utilize an Internet approach, opening up the survey process to all UA households.
2005 Older Adults Needs Assessment
More than 10 years on from previous studys of this growing population, the Older Adults Needs Assessment was undertaken to help the City better understand how it could best meet the needs of older adults through areas under its charge, as well as by supporting and facilitating the provision of social services by the appropriate local agencies.
2006 Police/Safety Survey
The Police Division conducted a small survey to determine resident satisfaction with safety services and to identify areas or growing trends that may necessitate a re-prioritization of police resources.
2003 Community Survey
Every three years, the City undertakes a broad-based survey of residents. The purpose is to monitor resident satisfaction with City services over time, to determine if priorities are in keeping with resident sentiments, and to identify any issues that should be addressed by the City's leadership. The results of the 2003 Community Survey are posted here.
