Upper Arlington City Schools

Upper Arlington became its own school district in 1918 in order to provide education to the village children. Since then, the school district has grown to one early childhood school, five elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school with the 2001 Upper Arlington High School graduating class reaching 439 students.

The mission of the Upper Arlington City School District is to provide each student with an innovative and superior education that instills integrity and promotes personal achievement in an ever-changing society. UA students continue the tradition of excellence in their performance inside and outside the classroom. This achievement is not only a testimony to Upper Arlington’s programs, but also to the high level of parent and extended family involvement. Children in the Upper Arlington City School District continue to excel because of this strong partnership between home, school and community.
