The Upper Arlington City School District mission is to provide each child with innovative and superior educational experiences. Our students continue the tradition of excellence in their performance inside and outside the classroom. This achievement is not only a testimony to Upper Arlington’s programs, but also to the high level of parent and extended family involvement. Children in the Upper Arlington City School District continue to excel because of this strong partnership between home, school and community.

The Upper Arlington Board of Education sets policy upon which all administrative action is based, with the goal of providing an education with a standard of excellence for Upper Arlington children. Typically, regular meetings take place at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of each month in the district’s administration building at 1950 N. Mallway. The Board also conducts a regular meeting at 7:30 a.m. on the Friday preceding the Monday meeting. Board members are elected at large to serve four-year terms in staggered, odd numbered years. The Board employs the Superintendent to provide educational leadership and to implement policies and procedures, and a Treasurer who serves as the district’s financial officer.
